1910: Foundation of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company
On March 14, 1910 McNaughton-McKay Electric Co. is founded in Detroit, Michigan by two entrepreneurs, John McNaughton and Arch McKay. They open their first shop at 107 Broadway in Detroit.
1915: Outgrowing our location and moving to a larger facility
In April,1915 McNaughton-McKay outgrows it's 107 Broadway location and moves to a larger facility at 70 Jefferson Ave.

1925: Joining Forces with Allen-Bradley
McNaughton-McKay begins what would become a long relationship with Allen-Bradley, an associate that would play a significant role in the growth of the company.
1925: Outgrowing our location and moving to a larger facility

| Increasing business and expanding inventory dictates yet another move of the McNaughton-McKay Detroit facility to our present day location in Madison Heights, Michigan. This building was designed and built specifically to house an efficient high speed warehouse and distribution center. This building is situated on 5 acres, and covers 65,000 square feet. |
