This workshop is an introductory level course. It will familiarize someone with basic PLC concepts and terminology. The concepts and exercises covered are: trouble-shooting principles, evolution of automatic controls, system hardware components, PLC usage of microprocessor memory, processor scan sequence, the three basic relay instructions, the count up instruction, the timer on delay instruction, number systems and codes, and analog input and output scaling.
