| Post Glover's PulserPlus Pro Reduces Risk of Arc Flash by 98% |
The electrical industry generally accepts that 98% of all electrical system failures begin as ground faults. Such failures typically require that equipment be taken offline, creating lost productivity (and profits) due to unplanned downtime. Post Glover’s PulserPlus Pro keeps plants running 24/7/365. The PulserPlus Pro is available in either a full-height, free-standing enclosure or a smaller unit suitable for wall-mounting. Standard designs are manufactured for limiting fault currents to less than 10 amps, with the ability to be adjusted in the field by the customer to a lesser value (if the system charging current permits). Post Glover’s PulserPlus Pro is the only digital high-resistance grounding system with pulsing available today. Engineered for use up to 600 V and available in indoor or outdoor enclosures, Post Glover HRG systems can be used to protect either wye or delta-connected systems. The third-generation PulserPlus Pro represents the state of the art in network-grounding protection... click to learn more |

| Cooper Crouse-Hinds' Liquid Tight Product Line Offers Many Options |
The Cooper Crouse-Hinds liquid-tight product line offers high-quality, high-performance fittings designed to the toughest standards and integrating the latest technology to ensure reliability, durability, and reduced installation time and cost. Users may choose from Cooper Crouse-Hinds Liquidator, LiQuik, zinc-die-cast, nonmetallic, or low-profile liquid-tight fittings. Whatever the need, these fittings will stand up to the most demanding wet or corrosive environments. Typical applications for liquid-tight conduit and liquid-tight fittings include the wiring of machine tools, motors, transformers, food-processing equipment, robotics, air-conditioning units, illuminated store-front signs, and billboards. The flexible metallic conduit and fittings protect conductors from mechanical damage due to vibration and movement, and they seal out cutting oils, coolants, water, and dust. The liquid-tight line is UL-listed and cUL-certified, meets NEC and UL requirements for use in wet locations, and reduces downtime and replacement costs. Liquid-tight fittings come in a wide range of sizes in straight, 45°, and 90° styles. They are available in steel, aluminum, zinc-die-cast, or nonmetallic construction; with or without insulated throats; and with aluminum or copper grounding lugs....click to learn more |

| Cooper Bussmann's Power Distribution Blocks Offer IP20 Protection and High SCCR |
Cooper Bussmann’s series of enclosed finger-safe power-distribution blocks (abbreviated PDBFS) offers both a high short-circuit current rating (SCCR) and enhanced shock protection. Enhanced shock protection clearly means greater safety, but what exactly does high SCCR mean to you? NEC and UL 508A SCCR marking requirements specify that industrial control panels, industrial-machinery electrical panels, and certain HVAC equipment must be marked with an assembly SCCR based on the lowest-rated component in the assembly. The Cooper Bussmann PDBFS has up to a 200-kA rating—enabling your power-distribution block to be one of the highest-rated devices in the panel. The PDBFS series is listed to UL 1953 for minimum spacing requirements of at least 1” through air and 2” over surface as required for UL 508A industrial control-panel feeder applications. Listed products require a simple check to ensure that the product is used in accordance with its listing and labeling. If a product is recognized but not listed, the conditions of acceptability must be investigated to ensure it is suitable for the specific application, and then the process description must be documented in the manufacturer’s procedure for the assembly. Since the PDBFS series is listed, it meets the requirements and therefore does not need investigation and procedure documentation. ..click to learn more |
