Kinetix® 300 EtherNet/IP™ Indexing Servo Drive Cost-Effective Low Axis Count Motion Control
The benefits of using a single EtherNet/IP network solution for your entire machine are substantial. Simplicity, flexibility and high performance are just some of the reasons to make the move to Ethernet/IP. And, it’s not just for select applications anymore. As Ethernet/IP communications have become widely accepted and adopted, there is a growing trend toward both machine builders and end users standardizing on this single enterprise-wide network. Rockwell Automation® realizes that safety is another growing concern. To meet insurance requirements, help protect personnel and help improve productivity through increased machine availability, the Kinetix 300 comes equipped with embedded safe torque off functionality. Now, some work that previously required power-down conditions can be accomplished without removing power from the entire machine, helping result in improved uptime.

Plug Into Safety with Leviton's Line of Tamper-Resistant (TR) Receptacles
Leviton makes it easy for you to comply with the 2008 NEC mandate for TR Receptacles in all new residential housing. This requirement resulted from a Consumer Product Safety Commission study that reported alleged injuries in the home caused each year by children attempting to insert foreign objects into receptacles. TR receptacles have been mandated in pediatric care areas for over 20 years and have likely been successful in preventing electrical injuries. As a long-time manufacturer of tamper-resistant devices, Leviton is pleased to be at the forefront of this safety measure with an expanded product line that encompasses a wide range of TR devices in residential and commercial grades.

As more states and municipalities adopt the 2008 NEC code, it is expected it to have a major impact on your market. To smooth the transition and help you meet your new construction needs, Leviton provides a handy cross-reference of standard and TR catalog numbers.

SolaHD SCP-X Extreme Environment Series
The SCP-X is a rugged power supply designed for use in extreme environments. The metal case reduces costs by eliminating separate enclosures. Quick change connectors simplify connectivity for distributed I/O devices on industrial machinery. This model provides 24 VDC output with limited power to meet Class 2 requirements. Three models are currently offered based on application. This extreme environment power supply is ideal for outdoor or wet chassis-mount applications. The SCP100S24X-CP is designed for Control Power applications where a grounded power supply output is required. The SCP100S24X-DVN is designed for DeviceNet™ applications where an isolated output from ground is required.

Appleton's Mercmaster™ Enclosed and Gasketed LED Luminaire
This enclosed and Gasketed LED Luminaire is a compact light-weight low profile design that is suited for low mounting heights. Its modular design allows scores of fixture component combinations to meet installation needs and it uses the same mounting hoods as the Mercmaster III. The fixture housing and mounting hoods are copper-free cast aluminum with a baked epoxy finish. All exposed hardware is stainless steel. It accommodates a wide range of voltages, and the hinge has a high lip for added safety during installation and servicing. Additionally the hinge and bolt construction assures 360º compression at all points on the ballast housing gasket for positive sealing. The swing away design of captive bolt and nut simplifies servicing as well. All Mercmaster mounting hoods have provisions for easy field installation of fuses in fixtures and fixtures are for use in Class I, Zone 2 hazardous locations.
