ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers 1756-L73,
-L75
The latest addition to the ControlLogix® family of controllers is
designed for improved performance. The new controllers, the L73 and L75,
provide the memory, speed and processing capabilities to meet the
demands of basic plant floor applications to high performance process
and motion applications.
As part of the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture™ system, these new controllers use the same programming software, network protocol and information capabilities as ControlLogix L6x controllers, providing a common control engine with a common development environment for all control disciplines.
Improved Performance
Depending on your application, you evaluate performance using different
criteria. ControlLogix 1756-L73 and –L75 controllers offer specific
improvements for specific applications.
Power and Diagnostic Capabilities
With the launch of these new controllers, Rockwell Automation also
introduces the Energy Storage Module (ESM) which ships with each
controller. The ESM eliminates the need for lithium batteries as well as
the maintenance and environmental issues associated with the transport
and disposal of lithium batteries.

IPEX introduces the new
Scepter® Round Floor Box & Stand Kit, an extension to the Scepter Floor
Box product line.
This simple yet innovative Round Floor Box Stand is equipped with several height brackets which accommodate the different rebar and post-tension cable heights and slab depths found from job-site to job-site. When installed together, the Floor Box and Stand can be used in 5-1/2” to 10” slab depths.
The Round Floor Box easily snaps into the Stand on one of the four convenient height brackets at 2-1/2”, 3”, 3-1/2” and 4”. By raising the Floor Box off the concrete form, the footprint is minimized which reduces the amount of time you spend finishing the concrete surface. In addition, the various Stand heights allow the ENT to enter the Box in a flat and straight path, resulting in less effort when pulling in the electrical cable.
This
enclosed and Gasketed LED Luminaire is a compact light-weight low
profile design that is suited for low mounting heights. Its modular
design allows scores of fixture component combinations to meet
installation needs and it uses the same mounting hoods as the Mercmaster
III. The fixture housing and mounting hoods are copper-free cast
aluminum with a baked epoxy finish. All exposed hardware is stainless
steel. It accommodates a wide range of voltages, and the hinge has a
high lip for added safety during installation and servicing.
Additionally the hinge and bolt construction assures 360º compression at
all points on the ballast housing gasket for positive sealing. The swing
away design of captive bolt and nut simplifies servicing as well. All
Mercmaster mounting hoods have provisions for easy field installation of
fuses in fixtures and fixtures are for use in Class I, Zone 2 hazardous
locations.
