March 13, 2020 - McNaughton-McKay Response
To our valued customers and partners,
Your business and success are important to us. Considering recent events, we want to share the steps we are taking to continue the same standard of service that your operation depends on during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Our leadership and operations teams are closely monitoring reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)and World Health Organization (WHO)and have already implemented precautionary measures to prioritize the health and wellbeing of our employee-owners, partners and customers. These measures include enhanced health and safety protocols in our branches to ensure that high-traffic areas are sanitized and cleaned routinely, as well as reducing customer site visits and employee travel when possible by utilizing existing technology to achieve the same goals.
If you call your local branch today, you will find staff available to assist you as usual. While we are not closing any of our branch locations at this time, we do encourage social distancing as recommended by the CDC, and request that all vendors utilize available technology to communicate with us rather than visit our locations in person. Despite recent industry supply issues, our organization is well equipped to provide crucial product by utilizing regional distribution channels and local systems, just as we have during natural disasters and other emergencies in the past.
We are communicating and working closely with our suppliers to maintain the flow of products that are critical to your operations. See this statement from Rockwell Automation as an example.
Do not hesitate to reach out to me or your local McNaughton-McKay team with any questions or concerns you may have. We stand with you in this uncertain time and will continue to update you of any changes as the situation develops.
Thank you for your business.
