Connected Machine Customer Workshop
Join us for an interactive online workshop to learn about The Connected Machine and remote connectivity to your automation equipment using the Ewon Flexy.
You will learn how to:
- Remotely access a PLC
- Setup alarms and send email notifications
- Monitor, troubleshoot and make updates to PLCs and other automation devices.
- Log data and send that data to the cloud
- Create HTML based dashboards
Cost = $499 per person - this includes:

- WiFi Extension Card
- IO Extension Card with IO Simulator Board
- Pre-wired 24VDC Power Supply
- Ethernet Cable
- Screwdriver
- All-day instruction
What you will need:
- Flexy 205 Starter Kit (included with the price of this workshop) - order at least two weeks in advance
- Internet connection for the Flexy – Ethernet or WiFi (have the SSID and password available)
- DHCP for IP address assignment is preferred
- Windows PC
- Ethernet port to connect to and configure the Flexy
- Internet access
- Two or more monitors are recommended
- Administrator rights to install software
- Software – (to be installed in advance)
- Microsoft Teams app – attendees will receive a Teams meeting invitation
- eCatcher
- eBuddy
- viewON
- Email account (personal or business)
- Required to set up a Talk2M account
- To receive alarm notifications via email
