Functional Safety for Machinery Engineer Certification
In this training, students will learn how current standards dictate the design and proof of functional safety for machines. The participant will learn how safety devices and components are assembled and applied to reduce hazards from machinery so the necessary safety for people and environment is achieved. Practical examples will demonstrate possibilities regarding machine protection.
Functional Safety For Machinery Introduction
The standards regarding functional safety and relevant laws and directives demand that people and organizations performing responsible (accountable) tasks during all relevant lifecycle phases of a machine must achieve and prove the required competencies. This is an introduction to functional safety for machinery standards and is highly recommended to prepare students for the Rockwell Automation®/TÜV Rheinland engineer certification course. This course is for technicians and specialists responsible for machine safety. An eligibility form approved by TÜV Rheinland is required to enroll.
Functional Safety for Machinery Technician Certification
GuardLogix® Application Development & Troubleshooting
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to create a Studio 5000 Logix Designer® project for a GuardLogix® system and troubleshoot a previously operational GuardLogix system.
Safety Relays and Devices Maintenance & Troubleshooting
This course will introduce you to monitoring safety relays and input and output devices used to configure safety systems according to industry standards for functional safety of machinery. You will have the opportunity for hands-on experience with several of these components, which will help you to learn how they interact in safety systems.
