McNaughton-McKay's Ohio Region Signs Distributor Agreement with ABB for Their Power Distribution Offering

On May 6, 2019, McNaughton-McKay’s Ohio locations signed a distributor agreement with ABB to partner on Low and Medium Voltage Power Distribution equipment, a segment of the ABB Electrification business. In 2018, ABB purchased GE Industrial Solutions giving them a complete power products portfolio that goes from a substation to outlet. ABB is the world’s largest low voltage switchgear OEM with products that include: circuit breakers, switchgear, components for lighting control, and power supply equipment. “The addition of the ABB power products to McNaughton-McKay’s Ohio Region’s product offering, will help us to be more competitive in the marketplace and provide our customers with the flexibility and service they require,” said Tim Krucki, General Manager of Ohio for McNaughton-McKay.

McNaughton-McKay will focus on ABB’s industrial solutions business in power distribution for connecting power and automation through the low and medium and legacy GE switchgear for the process industry as well as power and infrastructure customers. Product offering highlights will be: distribution & control equipment, switchgear, protection & distribution components, critical power, and service.
