Reduce I/O Wiring Time with Bulletin 1492 Wiring Systems
Wiring I/O modules using traditional point-to-point methods can require significant time for wire preparation, labeling, installation, and connection checks. To simplify this process as well as future troubleshooting and maintenance, Allen-Bradley® by Rockwell Automation® created the Bulletin 1492 I/O Wiring Systems. These systems use interface modules (IFMs) and pre-wired cables to reduce installation time and minimize wiring errors.
The expanded Bulletin 1492 Wiring Systems portfolio supports all Allen-Bradley 5069 Compact I/O modules, including digital, analog, safety, relay, and high-speed counter applications. The 5069 cables provide quick connections between 5069 I/O and field-side IFMs and can also connect to existing IFMs, providing access to feed-through, fused, LED, relay, and thermocouple options. Together, these options can help panel builders, system integrators and manufacturers simplify wiring when upgrading legacy control systems, such as SLC™ 500, to a more manageable architecture.
