Wittenstein’s Gearboxes with Cynapse^® Can Collect, Analyze, and Visualize your Drive Systems

Traditionally, gearboxes don’t communicate with your drive systems, however, WITTENSTEIN gearboxes with cynapse^® have changed all that. Thanks to an integrated sensor module the WITTENSTEIN gearbox can continuously communicate with you. It provides you with information about your drive system’s vibration levels, temperature, acceleration, or the mounting position. This gearbox data is generated continuously and flows via an IO-Link interface to your machine’s infrastructure and all standard IIoT platforms. With cynapse, sensor values are easy to monitor based on thresholds giving your manufacturing facilities the security of not being blindsided by unexpected system issues requiring emergency services.
