President and CEO Madison Heights, MI
Donald D. Slominski Jr. was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 2005. He previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Don Joined the company in 1996 as the Director of Finance - Southern Region based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to accepting that position he was a senior manager in the assurance practice of KPMG, a global accounting and consulting firm.
He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University.
Don currently serves on the Board of Directors for Affiliated Distributors, a dynamic community of independent distributors who are local market leaders. He is also on the board of EDGE Global Supply, a global distribution company founded by 11 members including McNaughton-McKay Electric Co.
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing Madison Heights, MI
A 30 year veteran of the Industrial Automation industry, Richard M. Dahlstrom joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1997. He served as the company's first National Accounts Business Manager and managed the newly formed relationship with Affiliated Distributors. In 2001, Rick was promoted to his current role of Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, he has ultimate responsibility for all customer and supplier facing activity inside of McNaughton-McKay. Prior to joining the company, Rick was with Honeywell's Industrial Automation group for 13 years. His last role at Honeywell was Director of Sales for the Midwest and Canada Regions.
Rick received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Marketing from Western Michigan University.
Throughout his career, Rick has served on numerous industry councils and advisory boards. He currently sits on the Distributor Advisory Council for Rockwell Automation and Pentair Equipment Protection (Hoffman.) Also, he is on the Board of Directors for the Vantage Group, a national accounts organization whose membership includes McNaughton-McKay.
Executive Vice President, Operations Madison Heights, MI
Scott Sellers was promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations in 2014. As a 30+ year employee with McNaughton-McKay, Scott has held various leadership roles in the company in Operations, General Management, IT and Engineering. Scott started with McNaughton-McKay in 1984 and was one of the original people that formed our engineered solutions group and also the corporate information technology department.
Scott received a bachelor's of science degree from Michigan State University in System Sciences, which was a combination of multiple engineering disciplines.
Scott is passionate about continuous improvement, Always Be Improving. He also leads our employee leadership development program that focuses on growing people in the organization.
Executive Vice President and CFO Madison Heights Michigan
John D. Kuczmanski was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO in 2015. He previously held the role of Vice President, Finance.
John joined McNaughton-McKay in 1998 as a credit manager in our Madison Heights, MI branch. Shortly after starting with the company, he joined the team gathered to implement a corporate wide business system, with John leading the finance area. Once completed, John moved on to increasing roles in finance leading to his current role. Prior to McNaughton-McKay, John worked for both First of America Bank and Ameritech.
In 2015, John was elected as Secretary for the Board of Directors of McNaughton-McKay Electric Co.
Director of Sales and Engineering, Michigan Region Madison Heights, MI
Andy Martin joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1994 as a supervisor in the Engineered Solutions Group and has been on a path of leadership ever since. In 2001, Andy took on the role of Automotive Sales Manager, leading a team of sixteen sales and solutions specialists to continued growth over the last fifteen years. Andy was promoted to his current role as the Director of Sales and Engineering for the Michigan Region in 2017. Prior to joining McNaughton-McKay, Andy was with EMC2 as an Account Manager in their San Francisco Territory.
Andy graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts with a BA in Economics.
Regional Operations Manager, Michigan Region Madison Heights, MI
A 24 year veteran of the Electrical Distribution industry, Marc Kuiper joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1997. He served as a Systems Engineer responsible for operator interface, barcode, and vision products. After moving into a leadership position in engineering, Marc accepted the Branch Operations Manager position for our Ann Arbor and Flint Michigan branches. In 2008, Marc was promoted to his current role as the Regional Operations Manager for the Michigan region. Prior to joining the company, Marc was with another electrical distributor where he held a sales engineering position that included customer service, solutions engineering, and MRO account management responsibilities.
Marc received his bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. Marc currently serves on the National Association of Wholesaler's (NAW) Large Company Operations Roundtable.
Director of Construction Sales, Michigan Region Madison Heights, MI
Rob joined McNaughton-McKay in 1996 to help implement our Ann Arbor, MI construction initiative. His focus was on sales, establishing purchasing and inventory strategies, implementing critical value added services and working with our warehouse & delivery operation teams to meet the demands of the fast paced construction industry.
With the continued growth of the construction group, Rob's responsibilities transitioned to management. He previously held positions as the Construction Department Supervisor, Construction Operations Manager and Corporate Commodities Manager and was promoted to his current role as the Director of Construction Sales for the Michigan Region in 2012.
A 30+ year veteran of the electrical distribution industry, Rob is focused on providing quality products and value added services that our customers and our manufacturer partners view as innovative and industry leading.
General Manager, Ohio Region Columbus, OH
Chris Majni is the General Manager for the Ohio Region of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. Prior to this role he was in charge of our Carolinas Region. Chris started his career with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation in Atlanta, Georgia as a Sales Engineer.
Chris came to McNaughton-McKay in 1996 as an Industrial Control specialist in our Coastal Region and then moved on to sales management roles in both Georgia and the Carolinas before taking on General Management responsibilities. He moved to Columbus, OH in 2014 to take on his current role as General Manager for the Ohio Region.
Chris has roots in Ohio as he went to the University of Dayton and received a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering.
General Manager, Carolinas Region Greenville, SC
Brett Gore is the General Manager of the Carolinas Region for McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. He relocated to the Carolinas Region in 2014 from our Georgia Region where he most recently served as Sales Manager.
Brett began his career with McNaughton-McKay in 1997 as an Account Manager in our Georgia Region. During his 18 years there, he served in various roles, including Solutions Sales Engineer, Services Manager and Sales Manager. Prior to joining the company, Brett served in sales and engineering leadership roles with AlliedSignal and Praxair.
Brett received his bachelor's of science degree in engineering from the University of Georgia.
General Manager, Georgia Region Norcross, GA
Bryan was born in Atlanta, GA and has lived there his entire life. He attended Georgia Perimeter College, now part of Georgia State University.
Bryan started his corporate career with Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph (now AT&T) working in marketing and advertising before moving into the world of electrical distribution with an electrical distributor in Atlanta.
In 1986, he was recruited to work for The Electric Supply Company which was later acquired by McNaughton-McKay in 1991. Bryan started as an Account Manager and moved into leadership roles in Branch and Sales management. In 2007, he was promoted to the role of General Manager for the Georgia Region, the position he holds today.
Bryan has held leadership positions in various Industry as well as Civic organizations in the Atlanta area.
General Manager, Coastal Region Charleston, SC
Doug has been the General Manager of McNaughton-McKay Electric's Coastal Region since its acquisition by McNaughton-McKay in late 1998. He started with McNaughton-McKay in 1996 in Norcross, GA where he held sales and engineering management positions before relocating to Charleston, SC to take on his current role.
Prior to coming to McNaughton-McKay, Doug worked for Honeywell's Industrial Controls division where he was Director of Sales - Southeast Region. While with Honeywell, he also held global account manager, engineer manager, and national sales manager positions. He has been in the industrial automation business for over 33 years including time as a plant process and controls engineer.
Doug has a bachelor's of science degree in chemical engineering from Tri-State University in Indiana.
Director of Finance, Southern Region Norcross, GA
Tim Gibson was promoted to Director of Finance, Southern Region, in 2005. He previously held the title of Regional Finance and Credit Manager.
Tim Joined McNaughton McKay in 1997, as Credit Manager for the Georgia location. Prior to joining the company, Tim worked as the Credit Manager for Ryder Truck Rental in Pennsylvania before accepting a management position within the credit/collection department for Ryder Truck Rental in Georgia.
Tim received a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Scranton.
Vice President, Human Resources Madison Heights, Michigan
Carol Hoefler joined McNaughton-McKay in 2002 as a Compensation Specialist in the Human Resources Department. In 2003 she was promoted to manage the compensation and benefits department, and has since risen through the group to become Vice President of Human Resources in 2017. During her thirty years of experience in Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation and HRIS, Carol has worked for a number of companies including West Marine as Director of Compensation & Benefits where she helped support the acquisition of E&B Marine, one of their largest competitors.
Carol strives to collaborate with the company's business partners to recruit, develop, support and retain diverse and talented employee owners, as well as provide applicants, employees and retirees with a positive Human Resources service experience.
Carol received her bachelors in both English and Psychology from Albion College, and her MBA from Oakland University.
Vice President, Marketing Madison Heights, Michigan
Gregory H. Chun joined McNaughton-McKay in 1986 and is currently the Vice President of Marketing. He previously held the role of Vice President of Information Technology.
Greg has worked in many areas of the company over his career, starting in engineering and sales, and then held leadership roles in various regions including Michigan, Ohio, and Corporate. He also had the opportunity to live in Germany and work for our S&D operation outside of Dusseldorf.
Greg received a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University,) and has an MBA from Michigan State University.
General Counsel Madison Heights, Michigan
Laura Del Pup serves as General Counsel for McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. Prior to joining McNaughton-McKay, Ms. Del Pup was a partner at Clark Hill PLC and specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, transactional law and nonprofit law.
Ms. Del Pup received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2001.
