Donald D. Slominski Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. He was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in 2005 and served in both capacities until 2020. He previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Don joined the company in 1996 as the Director of Finance - Southern Region based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to accepting that position, he was a senior manager in the assurance practice of KPMG, a global accounting and consulting firm.
He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University.
Don currently serves on the Board of Directors for Affiliated Distributors, a dynamic community of independent distributors who are local market leaders and is a past member of the board of EDGE Global Supply, a global distribution company founded by 11 members including McNaughton-McKay Electric Company and The Reynolds Company.

Mark Borin joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company as President in 2020. In this role, Mark has profit and loss responsibility and drives all business units within McNaughton-McKay.
Prior to joining the company, Mark served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pentair. During his 12-year career at Pentair, he was involved in their merger and acquisition activity, including the completion of many large and small acquisitions and divestitures. Mark also was a member of the KPMG firm for 19 years where he served as an audit partner.
Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Executive VP, Sales and MarketingMadison Heights, MI
A 30-year veteran of the Industrial Automation industry, Chris Majni joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1999 as a product specialist in Atlanta. He held roles in engineering and sales management in our Southern Region and was promoted twice as a General Manager for our Carolina Region and then for the Ohio Region. In 2018, he became part of the executive team and his current role is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, he has ultimate responsibility for all customer and supplier activity as well as sales and marketing strategy for McNaughton-McKay. Prior to joining the company, Chris was with Rockwell Automation for 12 years. His last role with Rockwell was Senior Sales Engineer in Atlanta, GA.
Chris received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He currently sits on the Distributor Advisory Council for Rockwell Automation and nVent (Hoffman).
Executive Vice President and CFOMadison Heights Michigan
John D. Kuczmanski was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO in 2015.He previously held the role of Vice President, Finance.
John joined McNaughton-McKay in 1998 as a credit manager in our Madison Heights, MI branch. Shortly after starting with the company, he joined the team gathered to implement a corporate wide business system, with John leading the finance area.Once completed, John moved on to increasing roles in finance leading to his current role.Prior to McNaughton-McKay, John worked for both First of America Bank and Ameritech.
In 2015, John was elected as Secretary for the Board of Directors of McNaughton-McKay Electric Co.
Vice President, Northern RegionMadison Heights, MI
A 25+ year veteran of the Electrical Distribution industry, Marc Kuiper joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1997.He served as a Systems Engineer responsible for operator interface, barcode, and vision products. After moving into a leadership position in engineering, Marc subsequently served as Branch Operations Manager for our Ann Arbor and Flint Michigan branches and then assumed responsibility for the Michigan region as a Regional Operations Manager in 2008. In 2020 he was promoted to his current position of Vice President, Northern Region with overall management responsibility for our Michigan and Ohio regions. Prior to joining the company, Marc served in sales and engineering roles with another electrical distributor.
Marc received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and currently serves on the National Association of Wholesaler's (NAW) Large Company Operations Roundtable.
General Manager, Coastal & Carolinas RegionGreenville, SC
Brett Gore is the General Manager of the Coastal and Carolinas Regions for McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. He relocated to the Carolinas Region in 2014 from our Georgia Region where he most recently served as Sales Manager. He added responsibility for the Coastal Region in 2018.
Brett began his career with McNaughton-McKay in 1997 as an Account Manager in our Georgia Region. During his 18 years there, he served in various roles, including Solutions Sales Engineer, Services Manager and Sales Manager. Prior to joining the company, Brett served in sales and engineering leadership roles with AlliedSignal and Praxair.
Brett received his bachelor's of science degree in engineering from the University of Georgia.
General Manager, Georgia RegionNorcross, GA
Josh Key joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 2020 with over two decades of experience in the electrical distribution industry. He started as an Assistant General Manager and has since become the General Manager of the Georgia Region.
Josh started his career in electrical distribution with an electrical distributor in Knoxville, TN back in 1997. From 2001 to 2020, Josh held many positions at Omni Cable Corp, including Sales, Operations and Regional Manager.
Josh studied Business Management at Pellissippi State Community College, is a graduate of NAED University of Industrial Distribution Program at Purdue University and is a graduate of NAED CSP - Certified Sales Professional Program.
Director of Finance, Southern RegionNorcross, GA
Tim Gibson was promoted to Director of Finance, Southern Region, in 2005.He previously held the title of Regional Finance and Credit Manager.
Tim Joined McNaughton McKay in 1997, as Credit Manager for the Georgia location.Prior to joining the company, Tim worked as the Credit Manager for Ryder Truck Rental in Pennsylvania before accepting a management position within the credit/collection department for Ryder Truck Rental in Georgia.
Tim received a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Scranton.
Vice President, Human ResourcesMadison Heights, Michigan
Carol Hoefler joined McNaughton-McKay in 2002 as a Compensation Specialist in the Human Resources Department. In 2003 she was promoted to manage the compensation and benefits department, and has since risen through the group to become Vice President of Human Resources in 2017. During her thirty years of experience in Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation and HRIS, Carol has worked for a number of companies including West Marine as Director of Compensation & Benefits where she helped support the acquisition of E&B Marine, one of their largest competitors.
Carol strives to collaborate with the company's business partners to recruit, develop, support and retain diverse and talented employee owners, as well as provide applicants, employees and retirees with a positive Human Resources service experience.
Carol received her bachelors in both English and Psychology from Albion College, and her MBA from Oakland University.

Laura Del Pup serves as General Counsel for McNaughton-McKay Electric Company.Prior to joining McNaughton-McKay, Ms. Del Pup was a partner at Clark Hill PLC and specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, transactional law and nonprofit law.
Ms. Del Pup received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2001.
