Donald D. Slominski, Jr.
Chairman and CEO

Don was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in 2005 and served in both capacities until 2020. He previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Don joined the company in 1996 as the Director of Finance - Southern Region. Prior to accepting that position, he was a senior manager in the assurance practice of KPMG, a global accounting and consulting firm.

He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Don currently serves on the Board of Directors for Affiliated Distributors and is a past member of the board of EDGE Global Supply.

Mark Borin

Mark Borin joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company as President in 2020. In this role, Mark has profit and loss responsibility and drives all business units within McNaughton-McKay.

Prior to joining the company, Mark most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pentair plc. During his 12-year career at Pentair, Mark held various leadership roles including Treasurer and Mergers & Acquisitions.  Prior to Pentair, Mark worked for big four accounting firm KPMG LLP for 19 years where he served as an audit partner.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Laura Del Pup
General Counsel

Laura Del Pup serves as General Counsel for McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. 

Prior to joining McNaughton-McKay, Ms. Del Pup was a partner at Clark Hill PLC and specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, transactional law and nonprofit law.

Ms. Del Pup received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2001.

Carol Hoefler
Vice President, Human Resources

Carol Hoefler joined McNaughton-McKay in 2002 as a Compensation Specialist in the Human Resources Department. In 2003 she was promoted to manage the compensation and benefits department, and has since risen through the group to become Vice President of Human Resources in 2017. During her thirty years of experience in Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation and HRIS, Carol has worked for a number of companies including West Marine as Director of Compensation & Benefits where she helped support the acquisition of E&B Marine, one of their largest competitors.

Carol received her bachelors in both English and Psychology from Albion College, and her MBA from Oakland University.

John D. Kuczmanski
Executive Vice President and CFO

John D. Kuczmanski was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO in 2015.He previously held the role of Vice President, Finance.

John joined McNaughton-McKay in 1998 as a credit manager in our Madison Heights, MI branch. Shortly after starting with the company, he joined the team gathered to implement a corporate wide business system, with John leading the finance area. Once completed, John moved on to increasing roles in finance leading to his current role. Prior to McNaughton-McKay, John worked for both First of America Bank and Ameritech.

In 2015, John was elected as Secretary for the Board of Directors of McNaughton-McKay Electric Co.

Chris Majni
Executive VP, Sales and Marketing

A 30-year veteran of the Industrial Automation industry, Chris Majni joined McNaughton-McKay Electric Company in 1999 as a product specialist in Atlanta. He held roles in engineering and sales management in our Southern Region and was promoted twice as a General Manager for our Carolina Region and then for the Ohio Region. In 2018, he became part of the executive team and his current role is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, he has ultimate responsibility for all customer and supplier activity as well as sales and marketing strategy for McNaughton-McKay. Prior to joining the company, Chris was with Rockwell Automation for 12 years. His last role with Rockwell was Senior Sales Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Chris received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He currently sits on the Distributor Advisory Council for Rockwell Automation and nVent (Hoffman).
